As the Asian economy continues to grow, it is vital that business leaders from the region are exposed to cutting-edge business education that is tailor-made for achieving success in the dynamic Asian arena.

The HKU MBA adopts an experiential-learning approach, with a strong focus on China and Asia. You will learn how to apply business principles and models to real-world business problems in China and the region. All courses are taught by using context-rich business scenarios and cases based on actual experiences at well-known Asian and global companies.

Course Structure

Offered in both weekday and weekend modes to best fit your work schedule
At your own pace, you can complete this MBA degree within a minimum of two years and maximum of four years
Courses are offered in a 5-week modular structure, meaning you just have to concentrate on one single course in a given 5-week module

Weekday classes are conducted at Admiralty Town Centre for its prime CBD location. Weekend classes are conducted at our Pokfulam Main campus, Admiralty Town Center to facilitate learning within the historical and intellectual environment

The part-time MBA programme is offered in both weekday and weekend modes.
Courses are offered on a modular basis, with each module lasting about five weeks. Students obtain their MBA in two to four years.
Weekday mode
Study in the heart of the city at our Town Centre in Admiralty. Classes meet twice a week on weekday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:45pm.
Weekend mode
Classes are held on Saturdays at the Town Centre in Admiralty or Pokfulam main campus. As Saturday classes are conducted only once a week, students are expected to dedicate the entire day, from 9:30am to 5:30pm, to the programme. Some weekend classes are occasionally conducted on Friday evenings.

These four themes identify the various challenges faced by firms in Asia as they build sustainable corporate advantage. We believe that by acquiring up-to-date knowledge, analytical tools and management skills related to these themes, MBA students will be well prepared for careers as senior executives in Asia.
